The History of Dar id-Dielija

Approximately two decades ago, we purchased Dar id-Dielja, a property then in a dire state of disrepair, with a vision to create a tranquil retreat from our bustling London life. Situated in the serene village of Santa Lucija in Gozo, our goal was to provide our children with carefree holidays on this enchanting island.

After extensive restoration and modernization, our family has cherished numerous holidays at this 'home away from home'.  The house holds a special place in our hearts, adorned with the beautiful memories we've created over the years.

In times when we're not personally enjoying the house, we open its doors to guests from many countries eager to explore the wonders of Gozo, be it winter walks, climbing, diving, or indulging in beach and watersports. The house stands as a cherished family destination, visited at various times throughout the year.

To ensure our guests feel truly at home, we've left books, games, and personal items for their enjoyment. Dar id-Dielja is more than a house; it's a haven where memories are made, and we take pride in sharing its charm with those who seek an authentic Gozo experience.
